I’ve never cared much for green eyeshadows and my sudden love of the greens in the ABH Nouveau palette has taken me by surprise!
Here is how I used mostly greens from this palette as I applied my make up . I used the shadows in the order as numbered. One thing I I always do is barely, barely, barely, touch the brush into the color. It’s got awesome payout! I also blend very well.
I put 1 down as an all over eye color. I follow with 2 and 3 in the crease. I blend these together very softly and slowly I put 5 and 6 in the very corner of my eye. I place a thin line of 5 under my eye and follow it with a line of 6 over it. Last, I take a very small amount of 4 and blend it above and slightly on top of the crease colors done prior. I also use 6 on the interior top corners of my eye lining it all the way across. . I go back over everything blending with a clean brush.
I use all BK Beauty brushes 💕 & the one I really have grown to love is the Angie Shimmer brush! It’s perfect for using shadow as a liner. I use the Pencil Blender to softly blend the shadow around my eye.
Other makeup used: Stashbox primer. It’s not my all time favorite but I’m trying to use it up. I got a small amount of the Jane Iredale primer in a starter kit They offer and I’m deciding if I like it better than my other favorite which is the Hourglass primer. I think I do. 😀 I like the finished look of it better as I think it looks richer and more skin like. Foundation is Jane Iredale pressed powder foundation in Amber. (Can’t say enough good about this new find!) ❤️❤️ Charlotte Tilbury color corrector is used under eye. Fenty cream bronzer and Hourglass blush colors, blended. When complete I sprayed a light mist of Pommist, which I think is one of THE most divine setting sprays EVER!
I’m still amazed I love this color as normally green shadows make me look like I got punched in the eye! If you have this palette or plan to purchase it, I hope you enjoy the palette as much as I do! #thisis71NofiltersNofear
